“ My father and his
father were both winemakers. So, a long time ago, I
made up my mind to be a winemaker, too. I grew up in
California surrounded by beautiful vineyards filled
with grapes of the highest quality. I wanted to turn
that quality into great tasting, enjoyable wines that
people could enjoy casually, conveniently, and as often
as they liked. The result of that dream is Peter Vella
Wines.
Not too long ago, when two of our wines were selected
in taste tests as the Best Tasting Box Wine White Zinfandel
and Chablis, my family and I marked the occasion with
a small celebration at home. We also used the occasion
to renew our commitment to an idea that, in the Vella
Family at least, enjoys quite a history. Affordable is
